Pete: A young falcon goes in search of adventure despite his father’s attempts to protect him.
Brigette: A young bird must figure out where he belongs in the world.
Morgan: A rebellious young falcon flies away to the bustling city of Zambezia to live a more ‘fun’ life.
Gable: A rebellious young bird goes to Zambezia to escape from the strict rules that his father puts him under.

Who was your favorite character and why?
Pete: Kai because he was brave enough to try and make it on his own.
Brigette: Gogo because you don’t see enough strong, older female characters these days.
Morgan: Ezee, because he was funny.
Gable: I didn’t have a favorite character. They were all somewhere between favorite and least favorite or they were my least favorite.
Who was your least favorite character and why?
Pete: Budzo because he was so scary and unforgiving.
Brigette: Tendai because he let fear rule his life.
Morgan: Budzo, because he was cruel.
Gable: Budzo because he was evil.
Did it grab you immediately or did it take a while?
Pete: The start was very action packed and the rest of the film lived up to it.
Brigette: The opening scene was extremely exciting and caught my interest right away and the storyline made the rest of the film very watchable.
Morgan: It was action packed right from the start and still had me the whole way through.
Gable: Grabbed me immediately and turned out to be way better than I thought it would be.

How was the ending?
Pete: Edge-of-your-seat stuff and the unraveling of the truth made for an excellent ending.
Brigette: Happy and a little bit open-ended.
Morgan: Lovely.
Gable: Happy.
What was the moral of the story?
Pete: Be honest with those that are close to you.
Brigette: Sometimes you need to let your kids fail in order for them to learn.
Morgan: Sometimes you do need a bit of change.
Gable: If you do what you feel is best for yourself, you will find yourself where you feel is best for you.
Who would you recommend it to?
Pete: Families or individuals that enjoy action packed animated films. Bird lovers might enjoy it too.
Brigette: Families with children who think their parents are too strict.
Morgan: Teenagers, bird lovers and anyone who liked “Rio” the film.
Gable: Fans of the film Rio, ornithologists, and people who like the idea of a city inside a tree.
