What did you think of the cover art? I don’t like that it had a blue background instead of the one it described in the book.
Who was your favorite character and why? Ivan, because he gave me a fresh new perspective on things.
Who was your least favorite character and why? Mack, because he was always so down.
Did it grab you immediately or did it take a while? Caught me immediately, but there wasn’t really any action in the book, so it didn’t have me the whole way through.
Was it plot or character driven? Most definitely character driven.
What did you think of the ending? It was perfect!
What was the moral of the story? As long as you have someone to take care of, everything will be okay.
Did you learn anything? How smart other animals are and how stupid most humans can be.
Favorite quote: “Humans speak too much. They chatter like chimps, crowding the world with their noise, even when they have nothing to say.” – Ivan
