Pete: Kai because he was brave enough to try and make it on his own.

Brigette: Gogo because you don’t see enough strong, older female characters these days.

Morgan: Ezee, because he was funny.

Gable: I didn’t have a favorite character. They were all somewhere between favorite and least favorite or they were my least favorite.

Who was your least favorite character and why?

Pete: Budzo because he was so scary and unforgiving.

Brigette: Tendai because he let fear rule his life.

Morgan: Budzo, because he was cruel.

Gable: Budzo because he was evil.

Did it grab you immediately or did it take a while?

Pete: The start was very action packed and the rest of the film lived up to it.

Brigette: The opening scene was extremely exciting and caught my interest right away and the storyline made the rest of the film very watchable.

Morgan: It was action packed right from the start and still had me the whole way through.

Gable: Grabbed me immediately and turned out to be way better than I thought it would be.

Favorite quote:

Pete & Morgan: “Zambezia is more than a place, it’s an idea that ALL of us are important!” – Kai

Brigette: “Someday you’re going to have to look after yourself…because no one else will.” – Tendai

Gable: “I’m allergic to danger.” – Ezee

How was the soundtrack?

Brigette: Very well suited to the film. You can listen to it on Rdio or we’ve put it on our Spotify as well.

How was the ending?

Pete: Edge-of-your-seat stuff and the unraveling of the truth made for an excellent ending.

Brigette: Happy and a little bit open-ended.

Morgan: Lovely.

Gable: Happy.

What was the moral of the story?

Pete: Be honest with those that are close to you.

Brigette: Sometimes you need to let your kids fail in order for them to learn.

Morgan: Sometimes you do need a bit of change.

Gable: If you do what you feel is best for yourself, you will find yourself where you feel is best for you.

Who would you recommend it to?

Pete: Families or individuals that enjoy action packed animated films. Bird lovers might enjoy it too.

Brigette: Families with children who think their parents are too strict.

Morgan: Teenagers, bird lovers and anyone who liked “Rio” the film.

Gable: Fans of the film Rio, ornithologists, and people who like the idea of a city inside a tree.
