Color Palette:

remarkable cp

Genre: Children’s Literature/Adventure

Who was your favorite character and why? Grandpa John because even though he wasn’t all that remarkable, he was still a kind person.

Who was your least favorite character and why? Probably Jeb, Ebb and Flotsam because they were obnoxious.

Did it grab you immediately or did it take a while? This book was one of those books that grabs you immediately but later on, only some parts are interesting while the others are a bit dull.

Was it plot or character driven? I would say more character driven.

What did you think of the ending? A bit too abrupt.

What was the moral of the story? Everyone is talented in some way, even if they do feel very untalented.

Favorite quote: “Some of us actually enjoy doing interesting things more than we enjoy doing long division.” –Eddie Grimlet

What would you change? The fact that it was all a bit too normal. I expected this book to be more remarkable than it was.

Song: Johan Hummel’s Trumpet Concerto

Who would you recommend it to? People who feel ignored or untalented or people who like pirates.

Number of unknown words: 2

Recipe: Strawberry Jam
