The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
Brigette started reading the book to me about 4 years ago and I did not really enjoying the concept. I then watched the film with Brigette (who had been categorically opposed to watching it for years) and thought that it was very average. At Brigette’s insistence, I discovered that it is yet another example of the film being a poor adaptation and should have been titled something else entirely. I would recommend the book to anyone who has an interest in time travel, science fiction, or atypical (realistic) stories of romance. I would not recommend the film to anyone except for hardcore Eric Banner fans. And if you take all the songs or top songs from artists mentioned in the book you have one of the best soundtracks to a book ever. I’d pair this book with Traveler Beer Company’s Time Traveler.
