Genre: Mystery/Thriller

Who was your favorite character and why? Amber Gordon because of her courage.

Who was your least favorite character and why? Martin because of his selfish intent.

Did it grab you immediately or did it take a while? Grabbed me immediately. I loved the way it was intertwined with present and past.

Was it plot or character driven? A perfect balance of both.

What did you think of the ending? Brilliant and kept me guessing.

What was the moral of the story? It is difficult to hide your past.

Have you read other books by the same author? No, but I wouldn’t hesitate now.

Would you like to see it adapted into a film? I think I could live without it, only because it would probably be a let down for me unless it was made 100% true to the book.

Songs:
Like a Virgin by Madonna
Don’t You Want Me by Human League

Who would you recommend it to? Anyone who likes suspenseful, unsettling thrillers.
